I’m a 21 years old in the fourth and final year of a BA (Hons.) degree in English and French at the University of Exeter and am doing PGCE in English and Drama at the University of Newcastle, currently on placement in an international school in the Netherlands. Grew up in East Anglia, developed a lot of love for Devon, lived in France for a year and am now enamoured with the North East. Travelled around a lot and kind of have wanderlust but also an attachment to wherever home is.
I’ll blog mainly about politics and current affairs and education, with a light smattering of humour, life, arts and sports.
In politics, I’m a centrist pro-European who, despite being a former Chair of Exeter Labour Students, has recently defected to the Liberal Democrats.
In sports, I’m an avid supporter of the pride of Suffolk, Ipswich Town, and follow them from defeat to defeat around the country. English for football, Irish for rugby and will forever extol the brilliance of London 2012.
